Just plain relaxing!
were formed from glacial deposits and are
lake.lake.
At Sweetwater Forest wherever possible rec facilities,
and other areas of high traffic, are located well away
from most camp sites, to better insure a peaceful,
pleasant atmosphere throughout camp-while still
offering activities for all.
Biking & Hiking-Sweetwater's permieter road is over a mile long!
Brewster does not permit boat motors
over 3HP on lakes & ponds located in
the Town. Long Pond's Boat Ramp is
just minutes away. Since the lake is in
both Brewster & Harwich, there is no
restriction on horsepower, making it a
water skier & power boater's paradise!

There's still plenty to be said for the
relaxation of quietly paddling a canoe
along our lake. (Only Snow's Pond is
pictured here.)
Our Kidz Catch & Release Fishing Derbies
are exciting & fun for all.  In 2005 the same
young fisherman won every Derby we held-&
he couldn't be bribed to reveal where he'd
dug his worms from. In 2006 the biggest fish
was caught by our smallest fisherman...and
the record stands!

relaxing in Sweetwater's beautiful surroundings, a wide variety of
rain-or-shine recreational fun & activities are available without ever
leaving the Forest.
Just for the fun of it!

Ready for some fun?
              Take your pick!
Enjoying the lake can be relaxing, or an
adventure-whether exploring by canoe, or

To celebrate 50 Years of great camping on Cape Cod we've
created a
new  Memory Garden & Play Center, located across from
the Store. In August of 2008, this site will be dedicated to the family
members who are no longer with us, but who's innovative thinking
conceived and created Sweetwater Forest as one of Cape Cod's
finest family campgrounds. As a tribute to our campers, a foot bridge
will be included in the Garden, from which the rock and stone river
bed that flows beneath it can be viewed.  The river bed will be made
with stones that have been painted with the names, dates, towns, or
messages from 50 years of campers!
Contact us if you'd like to be included!
